If a car was grade 4 in 2019 and grade R in 2022, that gap is the whole story. One sheet hides it. All of them show it.

A rolled-back odometer can add lakhs to the asking price of a car that is already worn out. It is the easiest lie in the import trade to tell — and the easiest one to catch with the full history.
Three ways buyers get caught
These are not rare cases. They are the three most common ways a Japanese import turns into a bad purchase — and all three are visible in the auction record.
A car is damaged in Japan. It gets repaired properly — new panels, fresh paint, straight gaps. In the photos it looks clean, and nobody mentions the accident.
The sheet from before the repair is still on record. We find it and show it to you.
Same car, same auction house, two weeks apart. First listing: grade 4. Second listing: grade R. Something happened in between — and the seller shows you only the sheet that helps him.
We show you both sheets, in date order, with the valuation from each.
A seller hands you a printed auction sheet. It looks official — stamps, Japanese text, a good grade and low mileage. But it was never checked against the auction house.
