Glossary
The vehicle trade loves jargon. Here is what the words actually mean, in plain language.
Auction sheet terms
Auction sheet
The inspection report created by a Japanese auction house when a vehicle is auctioned. Shows grade, mileage, equipment and an inspector's condition map.
Grade
The overall condition score on the sheet. Higher is better: 5 is exceptional, 4 is very good, 3.5 average, 3 rough; R or RA means repair history.
Interior grade
A letter (A to D) scoring the cabin separately from the body.
Chassis number
The vehicle's unique frame identity — the number you enter to pull an auction record.
Lot number
The vehicle's entry number in a specific auction on a specific day.
Verified report
An AutoOnes report pulled directly from the auction house record for your chassis, delivered with a permanent shareable link.
Import and market terms
JDM
Japanese Domestic Market — vehicles originally built and sold for Japan.
Grey import
A vehicle imported outside the manufacturer's official channel; common and legal in Pakistan, which is why auction sheets matter so much.
Ex-factory price
The manufacturer's official price before registration and delivery costs.
Token / registration
Provincial taxes and paperwork that transfer a vehicle into your name — always confirm they are complete before paying.
Open letter
A signed transfer document left buyer-blank. Convenient, riskier — the vehicle is not legally yours until registered.
AutoOnes terms
Featured ad
A paid placement that boosts where an ad appears. Always labelled FEATURED; never changes what we claim about the vehicle.
Ticket
A support request with an ST- number. Every ticket gets a human reply by email.
