DMCA & Copyright

Last updated · 13 July 2026

Respecting creators' rights is simple policy here: infringement comes down when properly reported, and false reports carry consequences.

Reporting infringement

If content on AutoOnes infringes copyright you own or represent, email [email protected] with the subject 'Copyright Notice' and include:

  • The copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  • The exact AutoOnes URL(s) of the infringing material
  • Your name, organisation and contact details
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorised to act
  • Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

Valid notices lead to prompt removal or disabling of the material, and the posting user is informed. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or fair use, reply with a counter-notice containing your details, the removed material's URL, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, and consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material if the original claimant does not pursue the matter within the statutory window.

A word of caution

Knowingly false copyright claims create legal liability for the claimant. Use this process for genuine rights, not to silence competition — we can tell the difference.
