Honda n Box is Japan’s favorite Kei car. Now Japan has launched the third generation of the new Honda n Box.
Honda N Box
In Japan, the term “kei car” refers to small, boxy minivans like the Honda N-Box. Honda released the N Box in response to the demand for practical and space-efficient cars, especially for commuting in cities. In 2011 Honda n Box was designed in Japan to target urban commuters and families. It’s compact shape and maximum inside room make it the perfect vehicle for handling crowded streets and confined parking places. The term “N-Box” is an acronym for “New + Navi (Navigation) + Nexus (connection).
First Generation
In 2011, Honda unveiled the N Box of the first generation. A front-wheel-drive, tiny Kei vehicle with four wheels is called the Honda N Box. The Honda N Box is a hatchback with a vintage style, an affordable engine, and excellent fuel economy. The first generation Honda N Box could have an average of up to 20 KM/L.
The Honda-N-Box has been the best-selling automobile in Japan for 28 months straight as of December 2019. Since its release, 1.7 million units have been sold.
N-Box Slash
The well-known Honda N-Box kei vehicle has a variation called the N-Box Slash, which went on sale in 2014. The Slash is a more squared-off and boxy shape than the ordinary N-Box. It stands out from the normal N-Box model because of this design method, giving it a special and distinctive appearance.
The N Box Slash maintains the same kei car classification and compact proportions, making it appropriate for city driving and compliant with Japanese laws governing small vehicles. One of the main selling points for kei automobiles in the Japanese market is that it provides utility and adaptability in a small size.
Second Generation
The Honda N-Box’s second generation, which was released in 2017, featured numerous modifications and enhancements. The N-Box is a well-liked kei automobile that is praised for its small size, effective use of space, and usefulness. To stay updated with the aesthetic trends, the exterior of the second-generation N-Box was probably updated. Changes to the front grille, headlights, tail lights, and overall body structure.
New Honda N Box (Third Generation)
The popular mini car New Honda N Box has been now introduced in Japan. The N Box is well-known for its roomy cabin, excellent fuel economy, and best security features.
Engine
The Honda N Box’s 1.3-liter i-VTEC engine generates 98 horsepower and 118 Newton-meters of torque. The CVT transmission is connected to the engine. It has a spacious interior with five passenger seats.
Interior
Honda N Box has more straight lines inside for a cleaner appearance. According to Honda, the “Main focus was the ease and comfort of every user”. There are also a few screens, including a 9.0-inch touchscreen located in the center of the dash and a 7.0-inch TFT unit serving as the dial display. According to what we’ve been told, the front seats are made to feel like sofas, and there’s a gorgeous cloth trim option that we wish more cars over here had.
New Honda n Box Exterior
The New Honda n Box has been introduced with the same old boxy style even the headlights are in a square box shape. At the front, there is just a stumpy nose. The back doors slide open just like you would find on a minivan. Off-white features are added to the door handles, mirrors, and wheel caps as part of the Fashion Style package. With the off-center license plate like a hanging tooth, it also appears to be grinning.
New Honda N Box Price in Pakistan
There are two variations of the New Honda n Box available in Pakistan: the base model and the custom model. Starting at Rs. 3,225,000 for the base model and Rs. 3,475,000 for the custom model, respectively. Prices may vary.
In Japan, Honda will begin taking pre-orders for the third-generation N-Box this month, with the official market launch set for October.
